There are so many different styles of wide calf rain boots out there that it’s not necessary to feel restricted to boring or even ugly rain boots! I have found that rain boots with a buckle on the side work really well to fit wider calves as well as to wear over jeans.

But, there is another super stylish alternative, and that is Lace Up Rain Boots! That’s right! There are quite a few super cute varieties of lace up rain boots on the market. For obvious reasons these are ideal for wide calves because there is no “squeezing” into the opening at the top, you just unlace them.

A wide calf is typically anything larger than 14.5 inches circumference. Make sure you measure your calves so that you know what the best calf width for you is.
